Who is responsible for the next decision?
In a busy maternity setting, it can be hard to know who is making decisions. You are allowed to ask who has reviewed your care, who is responsible now and when you will be updated again.
You could say
“Please can you tell us who is responsible for the next decision, when we will be reviewed again and what would trigger escalation?”
Questions to ask
